Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities.

Founded in 2015, Suubi Africa Youth Ltd is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged youth across Uganda. We believe in the power of transformation through youth empowerment, community development, and sustainable initiatives, fostering a future where young individuals thrive as self-reliant, spiritually grounded leaders.
With youth making up 25% of the global working-age population—85% of whom reside in developing countries like Uganda—the need for targeted support is more pressing than ever. As the ‘youth bulge’ continues to grow, Suubi Africa Youth focuses on equipping young people with the tools they need to break barriers and realize their full potential.

Who We Serve

Aligned with the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) definition, we define youth as individuals between the ages of 15 and 24. However, we recognize that the transition to adulthood is influenced by socioeconomic, cultural, and institutional factors, making our approach adaptable to the unique challenges faced by young people in Uganda.

Suubi Africa Youth’s strategic Focus Areas:

1. Youth Empowerment – Uplifting youths from poverty through economic empowerment with character and leadership development, and mentorship to become self-sufficient change-makers.

2. Community Transformation – Strengthening communities through Community discipleship, Community Health and Community Education capacity-building, strategic alliances, and advocacy for marginalized youths and children.

3. Sustainability – Fostering economic independence by instilling entrepreneurial skills in youth and establishing local enterprises to generate employment and sustain our programs.

Our Core Programs

LEAD -Youth Empowerment Program

The LEAD program focuses on equipping young people with essential life skills, leadership training, and vocational opportunities. Through mentorship, education, and capacity-building initiatives, we empower youth to become proactive members of their communities, fostering positive change and self-sufficiency.

Community Discipleship

This program aims to nurture spiritual growth and moral values within communities. Through faith-based training, mentorship, and outreach activities, we support individuals in building strong ethical foundations, promoting community unity, and fostering a culture of compassion and service.

Community Health and Wash

Our health and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives focus on improving community well-being by providing access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and healthcare education. We implement sustainable solutions that enhance hygiene practices, prevent diseases, and ensure healthier living conditions.

Community Education

Education is a powerful tool for transformation. This program provides learning opportunities, scholarships, and literacy support to underprivileged children and adults. By improving access to quality education, we empower individuals with knowledge and skills that break the cycle of poverty and open doors to a brighter future.
